Ryder Cup Rules
  • Ryder Cup is a TEAM Event. The league will be broken into two approximately twelve-man teams. Opponents from each team will be paired off according to handicap
  • The game is played as BOTH Medal Play and Match Play. That is, there are 2 points available from each match: 1 point if you win the Medal round (have the best score between you and your opponent) and 1 point if you win the Match round (win the most holes between you and your opponent). Any ties gives half a point to each player. Handicaps do apply.
  • At the end, the total points won by each team are tallied and each member of the winning team will take two league points.
  • If you find this confusing... just play a good round of golf against your opponent. We'll do all the math.
